The Moby Dick Big Read, which began on September 16, 2012, is basically a free online audio book of Herman Melville's 1851 novel Moby Dick. Each chapter is read by a different narrator and the entire 135 chapters should be completely released, in daily installments, by late January.
I've never read Moby Dick so I'm participating in the Big Read. So far, I've made it through the first 10 chapters posted. The times in minutes of the first 10 chapters are: 14-9-34-10-5-6-7-6-26-9. The time needed to complete each installment, as you can see, is not too long, though the chapters north of 25 minutes are more challenging (and meandering).
